Tubing on the Ouachita River If you're looking for a full day of tubing, the Ouachita River is the place for you. The water is clear, cold and clean and it's a wonderfully relaxing way to enjoy the day swimming and picnicking along the way. The trip consists of 8 miles of beautiful scenery and takes between 5 to 6 hours to complete. It begins on the Caddo River at the Two Rivers Canoe Rental put-in point and joins the Ouachita River 2 miles later. It then continues on for 6 more miles and ends at the Ouachita River bridge park take-out point in Arkadelphia. So get some friends together and rent some tubes for the weekend. Have some fun, it's summer time! Take out Points On short floats the take out point is at the Caddo River Bridge. For long floats, it's the Arkadelphia Take-Out Point at the Ouachita River Bridge Park. Being the end of the float, feel free to use the available picnic and camping areas.
